PRC: 1,080 pass marine deck officers’ exam

A total of 1,080 out of 2,442 exam takers passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.

Some 142 examinees will be exempted from taking the practical examinations after they submitted certificates of training and assessment in the ship simulator and bridge teamwork (SSBT), according to the PRC.

4. LIST OF SUCCESSFUL EXAMINEES FOR CHIEF MATE - WRITTEN PHASE WHO OPTED TO SUBMIT A CERTIFICATE OF TRAINING AND A CERTIFICATE OF ASSESSMENT IN SHIP SIMULATOR AND BRIDGE TEAMWORK

5. LIST OF PASSERS IN O.I.C. NAVIGATIONAL WATCH LICENSURE EXAM (WRITTEN PHASE) - November 2010

Registration for the issuance of certificates of registration and professional identification cards will start on November 16 and will run until December 26, while the deadline for submission of certificates of SSBT with practical assessment will be on December 7, according to the PRC.—Andreo C.
