A total of 191 out of 699 passed the Librarian Licensure Examination in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi this November 2010, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.
A UP-Diliman graduate, Angeline May Isla Odilao, topped the list of successful examinees with a rating of 87.80 percent, followed by Aldiane Joy Basale Ambit of Holy Cross of Davao College with 87.05 percent and Nicolo Lorenzo Tapang Cervantes, also of UP-Diliman, with 86.30 percent.

4. Mary Jane Cortez Morandarte of UP-Diliman, 86.25 percent
5. Imelda Rojas Brazal of Ateneo de Naga, 85.75 percent
6. Bianca Rei Tamayo Baylas of UP-Diliman, 85.60 percent
7. Johanna Jayne See Tacus of Philippine Normal University-Manila, 85.50 percent
8. Ivy Honeylou Go Cacho of UP-Diliman, 85.30 percent
9. Kristi Ma Fevie Villapando Macasaet of University of Sto. Tomas, 85.10 percent
10. Kelvin Bernardo Samson of UP-Diliman, 84.75 percent

The results of the examinaiton were released in two working days after the last day of examination.
Those who passed are reminded that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, November 22, 2010, but not later than December 8, 2010.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
Registration for membership with the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI) will start on Monday, November 22, 2010. - KBK, GMANews.TV
